THE VX LOTUS
As part of my ‘looking back’ series, on cars I have worked on, I have to include the mighty 1990’s Lotus Carlton with its twin turbo 380 BHP 6-cylinder engine and its 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds. This was delivered to me by my client, and friend, Robert Dean who is well know within the F1 fraternity for being the curator of Bernie Ecclestone’s car collections for over 24 years. Robert runs his own specialist vehicle management business called ‘https://curatedvehiclemanagement.co.uk’ which involves looking after private car collections for the wealthy! Part of his duties is to ensure the vehicles are maintained to highest degree and thus, the Lotus Carlton was sent to me for a full valet, detail, and ceramic coating. In addition, the Carlton needed its electrical and engine problems fixed and tuned.
As usual, my web designer and photographer, David Marsh, was on hand to photograph the work as it progressed. He always updates my website BLOG and social media for me.
